This 1-day course will cover: Contracts, real expectations, venues, marketing, how to spot festivals that are promoter friendly, registration fees, how to create show concepts and themes, pros and cons to solo or group shows, when and where to register, Insurance, setting a budget, pointers and tips from Comics and Promoters from across Australia, PA and lighting equipment tips, a contract/agreement template you can use plus much more!.

About the instructor:

Donte is a Business Owner, Author, Actor, Promoter, Agent and Manager.

As an actor, he had roles in the Movies, The Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolution, plus The Fat Pizza vs Housos Movie and TV Shows “ Disney, Getaway, Recovery and Generation 7. He’s also done voice over work for Foxtel, 2day-FM, Dance FM, Time-Life and Best of RnB CD Series.

He was the founder and creator of 2 of Australia’s largest entertainment schools ( DJ/MC Bootcamp 1998-2008 Syd, Melb, SA, Act, Qld and USA) and (Australia’s School of Stand-up Comedy 2010- Now, Syd, Melb, Act, Qld, SA) has produced over 1,210 shows in his Sydney Comedy Clubs, over 63 shows in his BonkerZ Comedy Circuit and over 27 Comedy and Fringe Festival shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.

His BonkerZ Comedy Club, was the only comedy club in Australia selected by MasterCard for their National Priceless Campaign, it was awarded the “Pride of Workmanship” Award from Rotary Clubs Australia and his 2016 “10 Comics Laugh-A-Thon” Adelaide Fringe Show was selected as Must See by Bank SA.
